Streit Group vehicles have survived countless attacks and saved many lives. Sniper attack - 8 vehicle convoy. Aggressors’ intentions were to disable the first vehicle, block the remaining convoy and continue attacking. Vehicle armoring successfully obstructed attack and all 25 persons escaped unharmed. |

Sniper attack - convoy at intersection. Attack came from upper floor of building. Sniper must have suspected vehicle to be armored as attack was focused on door seams. Two extremely accurate shots within 1 inch of each other; both shots were repelled by armored door overlap. |

VIP in rear seat of vehicle was the target in this attack. Gunmen planned to assassinate target at intersection and were unaware of vehicle armoring. Attempted assassination of the VIP was repelled by Streit armored vehicle. The occupants escaped without harm. Gunmen continued to shoot as vehicle sped away with slots hitting wheel well, bumper and gas tank. Streit armoring is continuous box section inside vehicle to prevent all penetration into passenger compartment from any angle or position. |

A common practice is to attack tires and disable the vehicle. Streit Group uses run-flat inserts in all tires as standard protection from this type of attack. IED’s (Improvised Explosive Devices) have become a common method of attack. It is not possible to protect against all IED’s since the power and shrapnel used varies dramatically. Streit vehicles have demonstrated the ability to protect against IED’s in many attacks. Often the vehicle is destroyed but the occupants have survived due to our armored ‘box within a box’ design. This method of construction creates an extremely strong internal protection compartment which has proven to resist IED attacks. |
