STREIT Group was awarded as the fastest growing company – medium / large award 2017 by RAKEZ
Streit Group win the fastest growing company 2017 award from Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) .
Ras Al Khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and RAK Department of Economic Development (RAK DED) have finally revealed the winners of the 2017 RAKEZ Business Excellence Awards during a glittering award ceremony held at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Al Marjan Island, on 25 January 2018. Staying true to its commitment for the fourth year, the awards programme has yet again delivered an incredible night of celebration dedicated to the outstanding free zone and non-free zone businesses across Ras Al Khaimah. RAKEZ and RAK DED have brought leveled up prizes to the table, adding monetary rewards to the traditional stunning glass trophies. “Leading a company to embody excellence is extremely difficult. This is why, I believe that RAKEZ Business Excellence Awards is among the most significant annual events in Ras Al Khaimah as it brings the most excellent businesses to the centre stage – the ones that demonstrated sheer hard work and helped ensure the emirate’s continued prosperity,” said His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAKEZ. “I’d like to personally congratulate the 2017 winners. We, at RAKEZ, are very proud of what you have achieved and are about to achieve as you go further in your business journey.” Although it was a fierce competition STREIT Group was chosen as the winner for the fastest growing company in 2017.
STREIT Corporate Social Responsibility
STREIT Group has taken the initiative to perform its corporate social responsibility towards the community and sociocultural affected areas. STREIT Group is one of largest armored cars manufacturer, with most of the military and commercial armored vehicles production that targets Africa and the Middle East deprived and affected market.
While saving lives of soldiers in war zone and making country’s defense stronger with its robust products, STREIT Group has launched some internal CSR programs being part of its vision that will formulate from now onwards as STREIT values to be incorporated with its mission.
The idea is to make more quality vehicles by investing more on R&D that satisfies not only customers but also the employees with healthy and safe working environment. The CSR part of this plan of action will emphasize on Labor & Human rights within an organization, Health & Safety, supporting local communities, Gender and Nationality based impartiality, Education and Food in countries by contributing from profits. So, the countries that will be buying from STREIT Group will eventually become the part of this CSR program that provokes national interest factor and helping community of that country.
