Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – STREIT Group today announces that on February 21, 2023, the all-new SCORPION 3 will be unveiled on the global IDEX stage. The latest version of the mine-resistant ambush protection vehicle is designed to shield tactical response teams, adapt to a variety of risky scenarios, and build upon the organization’s goal of providing innovative life-saving technology to private citizens around the world. 

After over thirty years of experience manufacturing high-power armored vehicles, STREIT Group has perfected its development of military-grade functionality that empowers customers to adjust configurations depending on their specific safety scenarios. The SCORPION 3 features a multitude of such military adaptations, including a critical ambulance configuration, superior off-roading capability, and the ability to withstand blast effects from mines and IED attacks.

With a high ground clearance, V-shaped hull, acute turning circle, and independent suspension, the SCORPION 3 is a reliable safe haven. Powered by an 8.9 L Turbo Diesel 6 Cylinder engine capable of generating up to 450 hp, crews of up to ten people can complete long-haul missions with 260 L of fuel capacity. The 4x4 vehicle is also armored to STANAG 4569 Level 3, with the ability to upgrade to STANAG 4.

Other safety-focused features insulate SCORPION 3 passengers including a tire inflation system, night vision camera, thermo vision gyro camera, engine compartment, battery tray with ballistic protection, and run-flat and bead lock tires. Customers can also add RWS.
