The inauguration marks the completion of the third phase of expansion of the manufacturing facility which has been operational since 2006.
Armoured vehicles manufacturer, STREIT Group, inaugurated the world’s largest, privately owned armoured vehicles defence park at the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) on 25 February.
The facility’s phase three segment was inaugurated under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
The facility completed in 2022 at the cost of almost $100 million, is now the largest facility of its kind in the northern Emirates, according to a company statement.

The opening of phase three of the facility is a new step in the group’s strategy to expand its investments in the UAE and worldwide, according to Guerman Goutorov, Chairman and CEO of STREIT Group. Industry-leading technological advancements and processes will be implemented at the facility, including automated and efficient systems, he added.
“We will reveal brand-new technology accessories, and emerging innovations, as a result of the latest partnerships and collaborations,” he said.
Goutorov stressed that each new product is focused on increasing the efficiency of critical security initiatives, supporting decision-makers as they coordinate key missions, predicting the future needs of global security leaders, and most importantly, saving lives in at-risk regions around the world.

The site features a number of new facilities, including one of the largest showrooms in the Middle East, the STREIT marine division, Steel Service Solutions, Nano Fire Protection Technology (NFPT), Shooting Lab, Advance Integrated Technologies, and SSV.
The facility also features a Steel Service Solutions factory which is equipped with laser-cutting steel technologies, making it the largest CNC Laser Cutting facility in the UAE.
STREIT Marine, the marine division of STREIT Group, catering to militaries, special naval forces, NGOs, coastguards, and security companies around the globe will also be based at the facility.
The company added that its workforce reached 1200 employees with the completion of phase three, and will rise to 2000 employees in 2024.
